Conversation practice. August 13th, 2014

1. 저는 아마 못 이해했을 거예요.
-> I would probably not be able to understand it.

2. 제 문장 고쳐줘서 고마워요.
-> Thanks for correcting my sentences.

3. 아직 학생이세요?
-> Are you still a student?

4. 아니요. 졸업했어요.
-> I have graduated.

5. 어떤 아르바이트요?
-> What kind of part time jobs?

6. 전공이 뭐였어요?
-> What was your major?

7. 러시아어를 전공했어요.
-> I majored in Russian language.

8. 특별한 이유는 없어요. 고등학교를 졸업하고 나서 그냥 외국어 하나를 배워보고 싶었고, 그때 우연히 한국 드라마를 보는 중이었어요.
-> There wasn't any particular reason. I just wanted to learn a foreign language after I graduated from high school. And i happened to be watching a Korean drama at that time.

9. 한국어를 공부하곤 한국어에 반해버렸어요.
-> I fell in love with Korean after studying it

10. 어떻게 한국어를 독학했어요?
-> How did you study Korean by yourself

11. 드라마를 보고, 많이 읽고 교과서들도 봤어요.
-> I watched dramas, read a lot and used textbooks.

12. 에코노미스트에 있는 기사들을 좋아해요. 잡지인데, 온라인 버젼도 있어요.
-> I love articles on The Economist. It's a magazine but there is an online version too.

13. 연예 기사들과 논픽션 책들로 시작했어요.
-> I started with reading entertainment articles and non fiction books

14. 답장 늦게 해서 미안해요.
-> Sorry for the late reply

15. 아침부터 정신 없이 바쁘다가 이제야 쉴 틈이 나네요.
I have been busy since morning and finally I'm getting some free time.
